Action in the district court for Hennepin county to recover certain United States savings bonds issued to Marion P. Swan,
deceased, and payable on death to plaintiff. The action was dismissed as to defendant Northwestern National Bank of Minneapolis,
and defendant Edward Swan, decedent's husband, counterclaimed for a judgment declaring said bonds to be held in constructive
trust for his benefit. The case was tried before Frank E. Reed, Judge, and a jury. At the close of the evidence, the court
granted plaintiff's motion for a directed verdict in her favor, and defendant Swan appealed from an order denying his alternative
